CVE-2026-23231

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_tables: fix use-after-free in nf_tables_addchain() nf_tables_addchain() publishes the chain to table->chains via list_add_tail_rcu() (in nft_chain_add()) before registering hooks. If nf_tables_register_hook() then fails, the error path calls nft_chain_del() (list_del_rcu()) followed by nf_tables_chain_destroy() with no RCU grace period in between. This creates two use-after-free conditions: 1) Control-plane: n

CVE-2026-23230

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smb: client: split cached_fid bitfields to avoid shared-byte RMW races is_open, has_lease and on_list are stored in the same bitfield byte in struct cached_fid but are updated in different code paths that may run concurrently. Bitfield assignments generate byte read–modify–write operations (e.g. `orb $mask, addr` on x86_64), so updating one flag can restore stale values of the others. A possible interleaving is: CPU1: loa

CVE-2026-23194

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rust_binder: correctly handle FDA objects of length zero Fix a bug where an empty FDA (fd array) object with 0 fds would cause an out-of-bounds error. The previous implementation used `skip == 0` to mean "this is a pointer fixup", but 0 is also the correct skip length for an empty FDA. If the FDA is at the end of the buffer, then this results in an attempt to write 8-bytes out of bounds. This is caught and results in an EINVAL

CVE-2026-23193

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: iscsi: Fix use-after-free in iscsit_dec_session_usage_count() In iscsit_dec_session_usage_count(), the function calls complete() while holding the sess->session_usage_lock. Similar to the connection usage count logic, the waiter signaled by complete() (e.g., in the session release path) may wake up and free the iscsit_session structure immediately. This creates a race condition where the current thread may attem

CVE-2026-23192

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: linkwatch: use __dev_put() in callers to prevent UAF After linkwatch_do_dev() calls __dev_put() to release the linkwatch reference, the device refcount may drop to 1. At this point, netdev_run_todo() can proceed (since linkwatch_sync_dev() sees an empty list and returns without blocking), wait for the refcount to become 1 via netdev_wait_allrefs_any(), and then free the device via kobject_put(). This creates a use-after-free

CVE-2026-23191

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: aloop: Fix racy access at PCM trigger The PCM trigger callback of aloop driver tries to check the PCM state and stop the stream of the tied substream in the corresponding cable. Since both check and stop operations are performed outside the cable lock, this may result in UAF when a program attempts to trigger frequently while opening/closing the tied stream, as spotted by fuzzers. For addressing the UAF, this patch chan
