Proofpoint warns a suspected Chinese espionage group used a Roundcube exploit chain to infiltrate physics and engineering departments in U.S. and Canadian universities, likely an ongoing campaign. Separately, at least two U.S. Army sites were taken down after 404-hijacking defacements were reported.
